Big challenges, cool new opportunities. The event sector was in full swing last year. And I expect it will continue to be in full swing in the coming year. That is why I will dive into all the trends I expect in 2025 in this article.
Let’s be honest: forecasting is always an ambitious task, regardless of who does it and how much data we analyze. Especially with the crazy world we currently live in. With the rapid technological developments on the one hand and all the hotbe that can still lead to all kinds of unexpecte consequences on the other. Uncertainty or not; I see a lot of positivity and positive developments in the event sector.
Never before have so many events been organise
of which 60% were offere physically, 35% virtually and 5% hybrid this year . With current developments, the sector could almost double in size to $2 trillion in the next 5 years, compareto the year before corona broke out. The number of visitors and the number of events they visit on an annual basis is therefore expecteto continue to rise significantly in the coming year .
Organizing events always gives me a big and grateful updated 2024 mobile phone number data smile on my face. Uncertainties and unexpecte events are always there, but the many positive reactions from guests and customers, the new technological possibilities and the constant growth continue to dominate. The trend articles that I wrote here on Frankwatching in recent years also put a smile on my face.
In preparation for writing this article I approached a number
f fellow event organizers to look at the trends I prdictelast year and what is expected for the coming year. In addition, I went through all evaluations and relevant data to see if the assumptions were correct.
Past Event Years
Not only this past year, but in the Στη συνέχεια εξάγουν past few years I see a lot of creative self-confidence in the teams I work with. As an event professional you quickly learn to deal with uncertainty, especially when you want to approach things in a new and creative way. Something that does not exist yet or has not been done before, simply brings with it a feeling of uncertainty.
But also dealing with the certain uncertainties. bw lists Staff shortages, rising prices and marketing challenges. The magic word ‘ AI ‘ has helped me, but also many event professionals in that area, in the past year. Not only because it saved the budget, but also because smarter choices could be made, which in turn had a positive impact on the experience of the visitors. Speaking of that experience: we really started to pop more. I see more and more entertainment and cool show elements, such as fireworks on stage and drone shows in the air.
